I joined Scentsy in November 2013 when my daughter, Tilly, was four and half months old. I had no sales or party-plan experience, however, I was desperate to avoid returning to full-time work. I wanted to spend as much time with my daughter as possible! I'd heard about Scentsy from family and friends in the US, where I grew up, so when Scentsy launched in Australia and two friends joined, I immediately ordered from them. The day my first warmer arrived, I rang the Consultant to find out more and signed up a few weeks later!
I have gone on to earn three all-expenses paid incentive trips so far, and have built a group of over 400 total Consultants from all over Australia, Canada, the US and New Zealand. In June 2014, I became an Australian Founding Director, and in July 2015, I achieved Scentsy’s highest promotion, becoming Australia’s fourth SuperStar Director!
I never returned to full-time work after my daughter was born. In fact, thanks to Scentsy, I no longer have a 'day job' at all. Scentsy has changed my life & given me freedom I didn't previously have. For me, the most profound realisation of that came just before Christmas in 2015, when I suddenly found myself the single parent of the 2 year old girl who had inspired me from the start. My Scentsy business gave me the ability that I needed to navigate a difficult time as well as the ability to remain financially independent and aim towards the same goals I had before. My Scentsy family gave me incredible support, patience and kindness when I most needed it.
